a. One possible reason is that there may be a blockage in the pipes. If the blockage is severe, there will be no water flow when the tap is turned on. Even if the blockage is mild, it can still affect usage, resulting in a weak water flow.

b. If the water tank is full but there is no water from the tap, there may also be a leakage issue. For instance, if the pipes are worn or have cracks, water may slowly leak out. It’s important to check whether the tap is properly shut off and if there are any cracks in the pipes.

c. Another possibility is that the water pressure is insufficient. Many water tanks are installed on the rooftops of homes, and if the installation height is too great, it can result in low water pressure. If the pressure is too low, there will be no water when the tap is opened downstairs.

d. Additionally, it is important to check if the entire drainage system of the water tank is functioning properly. If there is an issue with any link in the system, it could also lead to a lack of water from the tap.

2. How to resolve the problem?

a. First, check if the issue is due to a blocked pipe. Many households may face this problem after prolonged use, so it may be necessary to clean the pipes.

b. If there are cracks in the water pipes, indicating a leak, we need to identify which part is leaking. Prepare a pressure tester to check whether the water pressure in the household is normal. If the water pressure is normal, it indicates that there is no leakage in the pipes. However, if the pressure is not normal, check for any leaks in the flooring of the house or the water tank.

c. If the water pressure is inadequate, we can install a booster pump next to the water tank. Once the pressure is sufficient, this can resolve the issue of having no water from the tap.
