There are many types of toilets, and their usage effects naturally vary. For instance, electric toilets and flush toilets serve different purposes. Let's explore the differences between them.
Differences Between Electric Toilets and Flush Toilets
Material Differences: Electric toilets are generally made from more advanced materials compared to flush toilets, and electric toilets have more comprehensive functions. Additionally, in terms of usage effects, flush toilets can easily breed bacteria and require regular manual cleaning. In contrast, electric toilets can self-clean their interiors after each use, providing features such as washing and drying, making them more hygienic, which regular flush toilets cannot offer.
How to Properly Install a Toilet
1、Before installing the toilet, check the height of the drainage pipe relative to the floor, and ensure that there are no foreign objects or waste paper inside the pipe. Check the installation position of the toilet to ensure it is centered and that the floor is level.
2、Check the center of the drainage pipe by flipping the toilet upside down and identifying the center of the toilet's drainage pipe. Draw a cross centerline. The centerline and cross centerline should extend around the toilet's base and foot.
3、The next step is to prepare the toilet for installation. Align the crosshairs of the toilet with the floor drain, ensuring that the toilet sits level. Tighten the sealing ring firmly, then install the support legs, screws, and decorative covers.
4、After the toilet is secured, the floor must be sealed. This can be done by installing a dedicated sealing ring around the toilet drain or by applying a circle of silicone or cement mortar around it, with a cement-mortar ratio of 1:3.
5、Next, install the toilet tank fittings. Before installation, flush the pipeline by adding water for 3-5 minutes. After checking the cleanliness of the water supply pipe, install the angle valve, then connect the hose to the installed tank fittings and also attach the water supply.
6、Finally, conduct a toilet inspection. Check the water inlet valve and seal for normal operation, ensure the position of the drainage valve is flexible, and check for any blockages or leaks. If there's no water inlet valve, install a filtering device.
