Winter has arrived, and the bathroom heater has become an essential small appliance in many households. The bathroom heater combines heating, lighting, and ventilation while effectively eliminating moisture and odors in the bathroom, benefiting countless families. Below, I will introduce how to install a bathroom heater.

How to Install a Bathroom Heater

1. Determine the Ventilation Hole

The first step is to decide the position of the ventilation hole on the wall, ideally just below the ceiling and slightly lower than the air outlet. This can prevent water from flowing back into the ventilation pipe.

2. Install the Ventilation Fan

Next, attach one end of the ventilation pipe to the ventilation window, and then secure the other end to the outside wall's air outlet, ensuring it fits snugly. Use cement to fill the gaps between the ventilation hole and the ventilation pipe. Note that the center position of the bathroom heater should be within 1.3 meters of the ventilation hole, as most ventilation pipes are 1.5 meters long.

3. Determine the Position of the Bathroom Heater

The bathroom heater should ideally be installed at a height of 2.1 to 2.3 meters above the ground. Additionally, take care to direct the heater's light towards the person's back during bathing to help prevent chills.

4. Wiring

When wiring, first remove the light bulbs from the heater, then take off the springs and the cover. Following the wiring diagram and the markings on the terminal, complete the wiring. Replace the terminal cover, and it’s best to tuck any excess wire into the ceiling space.

5. Connect the Ventilation Pipe

Fit the ventilation pipe onto the air outlet of the ventilation fan, and then carefully place the main body of the bathroom heater into the prepared space, ensuring it is stable.

6. Install the Cover and Light Bulbs

Insert the cover of the bathroom heater into the designated grooves, then secure it with the spring and screw in all the light bulbs to complete the installation.
