Many people choose to install heat lamp bulbs when renovating their bathrooms. Here, I'll briefly introduce the common specifications for heat lamp bulbs available in the market.
Specifications of Heat Lamp Bulbs
Heat lamp bulbs come in various specifications including 365mm in length and 365mm in width; 425mm in length and 425mm in width; and 450mm in length and 370mm in width. The bulb-type heat lamps consist of either 2 or 4 heating bulbs. They have a small heating range and can quickly raise the temperature, making them suitable for small bathrooms. However, the heating comfort of bulb heat lamps is generally average, and issues such as having a warm head but cold feet can occur.
Common Types of Heat Lamps
1.Lamp Heating Type: This economical and practical type of heat lamp is widely recognized by many homeowners. It can be used immediately without preheating, with advantages such as high thermal efficiency and good local heating effects. Additionally, many lamp heating types have aesthetically pleasing designs, enhancing the decorative effect. However, there are safety risks associated with this type, such as the possibility of eye burns.
2.Wind Heating Type: Compared to lamp heating types, wind heating types offer higher safety with no high heat sources and strong light, reducing the likelihood of heat lamp explosions or similar accidents. This type is suitable for larger bathrooms, providing a wide heating range with even heat distribution. However, it has a slow heating process, typically requiring preheating for about ten minutes to achieve the desired warmth.
3. Carbon Fiber Heat Lamp: This type has also become quite popular. It features high thermal efficiency, good aging resistance, and a long lifespan. The far infrared radiation emitted by carbon fiber heat lamps can also improve blood circulation and provide health benefits. However, these lamps have a high power rating and can easily burn out, and the technology behind them is still relatively new, which may not be fully matured.
