In winter, bathing is incomplete without a bath heater. If the choice is a warm air type, here's how to correctly connect it.
How to Install and Connect a Warm Air Bath Heater
1. Before installation, refer to the product manual to review the circuit connection diagram. Clarify the wiring before connecting. First, strip the wire insulation for about 6 millimeters. If it's too long, trim the excess. Typically, a warm air bath heater has four wires. Lead the electrical wires out of the conduit and connect them to the control wires. Next, pull the control wires out of the conduit from the ceiling, and locate the power supply's neutral and live wires to connect them to the corresponding terminal.
2. The live wire should connect to the L terminal, while the neutral wire connects to the N terminal. Tighten the connections with a screwdriver, and secure the junction box with screws. Other wires should connect to their respective terminals, such as the ventilation wire to the ventilation terminal and the lighting wire to the lighting terminal. The colors should match, making them easy to identify. Once everything is connected, power on the system to check if it operates normally.
How to Install a Warm Air Bath Heater
1. Install the bath heater on the ceiling, ensuring to reserve an opening for the exhaust vent, usually around 10 centimeters in diameter. Thus, the hole should be prepared before installing the ceiling. The typical opening size for the bath heater is either 300×300 millimeters or 300×400 millimeters. After opening the hole, you only need to leave one panel position uninstalled.
2. Next, remove the cover, unscrew the light bulb, and connect the wires correctly. Refer to the connection diagram and connect all the wires according to the markings. Once connected, power on to check for any issues. If everything is fine, cover the terminal connections with the protective cover, secure the cover with screws, and tuck the remaining wires into the ceiling. Connect the ventilation duct, ensuring that one end reaches into the room and connects to the exhaust vent.
In summary:the above describes how to correctly connect and install a warm air bath heater. It’s recommended that installation be performed by a professional, and when installing the ceiling, the bath heater’s installation opening must be accurately reserved and sized correctly.
