Shower rooms are a very important part of a house, so their renovation and design must be handled with special care.
How to install a shower room as a whole?
1. First, mark out the corresponding space in the bathroom and determine the location for the shower room installation. During the renovation, it is necessary to clarify the distribution of water lines and how to make holes.
2. Start by assembling the base in the determined location. If there is water seepage from the base, it indicates that it is installed at an angle. After installation, check whether the base is level.
3. Conduct a waterproof test on the finished base. If there are issues like leakage or blocked drainage, they need to be corrected before proceeding to the next step.
4. Since the shower door is a sliding door, install the track after the base's waterproof inspection is qualified. The lower track should be set in the middle of the stone base.
5. Next, assemble the aluminum alloy frame. First, insert the side materials into the upper and lower tracks and secure them with screws. Install the aluminum material that is close to the wall on both sides, place the assembled shower room frame in the center of the stone base, and adjust its level. Then drill holes in the nearby aluminum materials and use tightening screws to secure the aluminum alloy frame to the stone base.
6. Use screws to fix the fixed plates on both sides of the back of the base and the shower screen.
7. Insert sealing strips into the gaps between the glass and the frame so that the glass can be clamped more securely.
8. After securing everything, install the handle for the sliding door, attach the top cover, and use silicone sealant to seal the edges.
9. Connect the hot and cold water pipes, then test the water to ensure normal supply.
10. After connecting the drainage pipe, insert it into the pipe, and seal the surrounding area with silicone sealant. Perform a waterproof test again; if there are no leaks or blockages, the installation is complete.
In summary:the above are the installation steps for a shower room. From the article, we can see that during the actual operation, it is crucial to strictly follow the sequence. This ensures that the quality of the work meets the standards, reduces the probability of rework, and saves more time and effort. I hope this helps everyone.
